Dinesh and Ashwini were awesome to work with, relaxed, friendly and kind. Ashwini has a quiet confidence about her, whose inner beauty definitely translated through the lens. Dinesh didn’t particularly like being photographed (like most grooms) but I think he looked dashing. Here’s a peek at their wedding…
What was the hardest part of the planning process?
The hardest part of the planning process.. Hmmm that’s a tough one! I think apart from having to remember and co-ordinate a zillion things, the hardest part of the planning process is always making sure everyone is happy with the choices and arrangements… As a couple you have all these dreams and ideas in your head… to make everyone understand exactly what you want and how you want it, and getting them to agree with you was a little difficult.
Did you experience any unexpected turns during the wedding process and how did you handle it?
Being the control freak I am, I planned meticulously to make sure everything was in order for the big day and the days leading up to it. But I soon learnt that no amount of planning can make everything run smoothly.. there are always unexpected turns as you get closer to the wedding and looking back now it kind of adds to the entire experience! I reached a point where I realised that the wedding is much more than the minor details I was stressing about.. I was marrying the person I love and that’s all that mattered..
Any advice for brides-to-be?
My advice for brides to be is that, as much as you want your day to be perfect, there will always be a few glitches.. just remember not to focus on them.. After all the wedding is not about the décor or the food or the DJ, etc… its about you and the one you love.. it’s the one day that you get to be a princess.. so enjoy the day from start to end! J
Looking back, is there anything you would have done differently?
There are a few things that we may have done differently.. but none of that matters now.. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and we will cherish every single moment of it..
